Major financial services firm is seeking a System Analyst to design, support, troubleshoot and maintain their Electronic Trading System infrastructure. Responsibilities will include interfacing with U.S Stock Exchanges and Electronic Connectivity Networks (ECN); working as a liaison between the Business Units and the developers to gather requirements and deploy sensible business solutions; gathering Exchange requirements and work closely with developers to integrate those changes into the environment. Candidate must have great analytical, organizational and communication skills. This is a hand-on position that requires the individual to gain in-depth knowledge of the equities business and the technologies required to ensure the competitive edge of the company. Candidate will be expected to be able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. Candidate should have good working knowledge of Unix, ECN or FIX, Networking, XML, SQL, Shell and Perl programming.
