Leading information technology provider is seeking a QA Manager to deliver and maintain enterprise software systems by identifying, reporting and tracking all problems in the software produced by the development teams.
Requirements:
· BA/BS Computer Science degree
· 5+ years of multi-tier software development experience
· 3+ years of QA management experience with at least 5 QA engineers
· Extensive work experience with the software development process and its integration with the QA process
· Financial industry experience (knowledge of the FIX protocol is a plus)
· Technical proficiency in high volume message-based transaction systems, UNIX, database technologies (Oracle and Sybase) and general system programming
· Knowledge of application development standards, tools, and methodologies (RUP, UML, CMM)
· Extensive experience with testing tools such as Rational Test Suite and Robot
· Technical understanding of UNIX and Microsoft NT/Win2K and XP environments, and their impact on development and testing efforts
· Excellent people management and motivational skills.
