Manages mid-size projects relating to corporate change initiatives that impact a single major business or function. Projects have: 1) major influence on the quality and timeliness of products or services, or impact the financial performance of the business unit and 2) require cross-divisional coordination, communication, influence and negotiation. Senior Change Manager is responsible for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Actively involved in the conduct/execution of project activities. Has actual staffing, performance management and compensation decision-making responsibilities for team. Typically has responsibility for project staff and budget. Serves as primary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives. Typically 5 or more years of experience in change management preferred. Project management certification or equivalent experience preferred.
This person will be responsible for the Global Markets Trading Technology involvement in metrics program which requires experience with initiating and maturing a metrics program. A second area of responsibility is to lead our efforts to define and rollout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in the rapid application development domain. This will require a person who is quite experienced with SW development processes and can collaborate/coordinate with people in many locations with differing perspectives - so influence management is a key characteristic.
Required skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or related field; minimum of 10 years experience with implementation of software development lifecycles (e.g. iterative, rapid, spiral, agile)
Desired skills:
Software development experience; software PM experience; Six Sigma training leading to green/black belt
