Prestigious trading firm in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Trade Floor Support professional to provide first level support for hundreds of traders and administrators at multiple locations. The users and administrators will be accessing the Electronic Transaction Processing Systems and their associated client/server based applications that are utilized in trading a variety of financial products. Responsibilities for this role include monitoring the real-time status and functionality of the systems and identifying, investigating and resolving user and system problems in a timely manner.
Minimum of four years experience in a production support, administration or development role.
Experience working with UNIX and Windows O/S.
Programming experience in high level languages C++, JAVA or scripting languages PERL, UNIX shell is a plus.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Salary in the 100K range. Full relocation assistance is available.
