This position will be responsible for facilitating support of the firms Trading system. Candidates with experience in equity trading and knowledge of OMS trading systems and the FIX Protocol will be given first consideration. You would provide technical support to our clients, potentially on-site training, and FIX certification of client connections and front end functionality.

Position requires strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
Experience in handling first level support issues for network users, including basic hardware and software problems
Knowledge of multiple operating systems such as Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003, Linux and Solaris a plus.
Responsible for the management of production problems, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
Responsible for working with development and QA teams to ensure releases are smooth, error-free, and easily rolled-back
Proactively identify and resolve potential system problems.
Promote the overall stability of the system through technical implementation of automated monitoring and logging tools.
Create and maintain applications documentation for training, cross-training, troubleshooting and the site infrastructure.

Skills required: Candidates must have substantial knowledge of network administration; detailed understanding of FIX Protocol (4.0-4.4 preferably) for a minimum of 2 years.
