Direct Product Sales Executive FIX/OMS – NYC or Chicago

Our client is a leading provider of order routing and integration solutions for the securities industry. The ability to rapidly connect with trading partners accelerates increased order flow, integrates with existing systems and enables customers to achieve their STP objectives.
Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Product Sales Executive with around 5 years experience selling front office technology solutions. You should have experience in selling trading software or network-based services i.e. FIX connectivity, OMS or CRM. You will ideally have had experience in one of the leading Equity or Trading solutions companies. who can do large ticket sales, who has a background in selling order routing systems, who can do license and/or transaction sales, who has at least 5 years experience selling to the sell side. They should have experience selling technical products to business users. You should posess a strong US contact base with senior level people in trading and trading operations with Tier 2 sell side houses. Idealy with a trading backgroundl. Essential knowledge:- Equities, Options, Fixed Income, Derivatives and FX and understand STP from the trading, Clearing, Settlement, and reporting perspective.
The role is based in the NYC or Chicago; you must be prepared to travel when and where required. New business sales will be the main part of the appointment so excellent phone manner.
You must have a good track record and have been consistent in achieving targets.
You will be responsible for:
- You will be involved with direct product sales.
- Sales into Buy side clients mainly Equities and Hedge funds
- They should take a solution selling approach to the market and be good at uncovering needs,
qualifying, managing complex sales, and closing. - The target accounts will be Tier 1 and Tier 2 sell side accounts and large hedge funds.
