Hi Candice,

Perhaps, the following section at page 294 of FIX-5.0_VOL-6.doc specification might be useful to you.

Hello,

I am a bit confused. How do the FIX Exchange codes differ from the ones used in the SecurityExchange (207) field, defined by ISO 10383?

Thanks.

FIX versions up through and including 4.2 used Reuters suffix codes (e.g. “L” for London Stock Exchange, “SA” for Sao Paulo Brazil, etc). FIX versions 4.3 and above use the ISO 10383 MIC (Market Identifier Code) standard. FPL has assigned numeric codes to those markets/venues that did/could not have an code defined by one of these two sources. (on http://www.fixprotocol.org/specifications/exchanges.shtml)
